Vintage Aseda Swedish Blue Hooped Cased Glass Vase

Gorgeous deep petrol blue / turquoise opaque glass vase.

Striking hooped, very mid century design.

A very beautiful vintage Swedish vase that will make a great display piece.

Blue glass lined/cased with white glass.

Designed by Bo Borgstrom and handmade in Sweden in the 1960s by Aseda.

It is approximately 18cm high and 11cm wide.

In excellent vintage condition with no chips and only a few minor signs of age, mainly a few scratches which we’ve highlighted - they look much worse in the close up photo and are barely noticeable to the eye.

Aseda Glasbruk was founded in Southern Sweden in 1947 and went out of business in 1977. Bo Borgstrom was the lead designer for Aseda in the 1960s.
