Holmegaard Royal Copenhagen 1980s Glass Table Lamp

Large glass lamp in traditional cool Nordic white, called Opal, with satin steel detailing.

The design is called 'Sakura' and features an abstract pink floral design.

Designed by Michael Bang in 1980 in collaboration with Royal Copenhagen.

Made in Denmark by Holmegaard for Royal Copenhagen between 1980 and 1984.

Approximately 32cm high, including the original lamp holder, and 12cm wide.

Excellent fully working vintage condition with original sticker.

The last photo shows it in Holmegaard’s 1982 catalogue.

It is in full working condition and will be rewired with new white cable and a switch.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American* plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).

*If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they need to be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting.
