Mid Century Scandinavian Pendant Ceiling Lamp 1960s

A high quality pendant lamp made of handmade glass and aluminium.

The top part is made of brushed aluminium over a white coated metal lamp fitting. Two of the photos have the outer part removed to show white fitting underneath.

The lower part is made of thick, faceted glass - designed to diffuse the light to produce a cosy glow.

The glass was probably made in Sweden.

The lamp was made in Denmark or Sweden in the 1960s/70s.

Approximately 20cm wide and 20cm high.

Very good fully working vintage condition. The glass shade is in excellent condition with no chips. The aluminium part has some signs of age such as scratches.

Refurbished and rewired with approximately 1m of high quality vintage style white fabric cable. Can be rewired with a different colour or length of cable for a small re-tooling charge.

This is a heavy lamp that will need to be securely attached to a wooden beam or similar.

Does not come with a ceiling rose/canopy. A new black or white metal ceiling rose is available as an optional extra.

Takes a E27 bulb, maximum 60w (not included).

If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 lightbulbs will probably work but because they are 1mm smaller and this has an old lamp holder you may need to wind the bulb fully to ensure in makes contact with the fitting.
