Vintage Riihimaki Finnish Emerald Green Glass Vase.

Hooped glass vase in a beautiful turquoise colour which is one of Riihimaki’s rarest colours.

This is a luscious, tactile vase with a real high quality feel about it. It is our personal favourite Riihimaki vase and we are collectors of it.

The rare blue/green colour way, combined with this very popular shape, means this vase is becoming very hard to find.

Model number 1472. Designed by Tamara Aladin.

Handmade in Finland by Riihimaki in the period 1965-1975.

20cm tall and 9.5cm wide. A beautifully solid and weighty vase.

The photos may look similar but it has been turned so you get a full 360 of it.

Excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age, mainly some small scratches, and a little roughness on the rim from grinding and polishing in the manufacturing process.
