Vintage Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp

Large bulb-shaped handmade lamp in a very mid century colour.

Has a glossy glaze in a brownish shade of olive green - the colour varies depending on the light.

Features a lightly textured rippled design with a bandof textured pattern in a lighter shade of olive green.

Model 1218 which we believe was designed by Arne Finne.

Handmade in Bornholm, Denmark, probably in the 1970s.

28cm high including the lamp holder and 17cm wide at the base.

Excellent full working vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

The price includes re-wiring with high quality, Italian-made fabric cable and a new plug, replacing old, worn fittings if required. You have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, white, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

It will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable with a new switch, retaining the original lamp holder if practical.

We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).

** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.
