Medium sized handmade 1960s/70s Danish ceramic lamp.

Features a matt mottled beige rustic stoneware base with a sea green and earthy brown pattern.

Model number 3068, part of the Erika series designed by Noomi Backhausen for Soholm Pottery

Handmade in Denmark on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.

Has its manufacturer’s details on its base.

26cm high including the lamp holder and 14cm wide at its widest point.

Very good full working vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

Please let us know in the notes which colour cable you would like.

The lampshade is not included.

It will be rewired with vintage style Italian braided fabric cable, with a new switch, retaining the original lamp holder if practicable. If you buy two lamps we will ensure they have matching fittings.

We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). ** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.
