Large Mid Century Scandinavian Pendant Ceiling Lamp 1960s

A high quality vintage lamp - at 40cm wide this is the larger size

The light shines through the glass inserts and looks amazing.

Made of thick handmade glass and white coated aluminium.

Designed by Erik Hoglund & Einar Backstrom in the 1960s.

The 16 thick chunks of teal blue and clear glass were made in Sweden.

The lamp was made in Denmark or Sweden in the 1960s/70s.

Approximately 40cm wide and 30cm high.

Good/very good fully working vintage condition. The white metal dome has some scratches, loss of painted finish and some small dents, but nothing that shows too much once it is hung up. The glass is not chipped and in excellent condition.

Refurbished and rewired with approximately 1m of high quality vintage style white fabric cable. Can be rewired with a different colour or length of cable for a small re-tooling charge.

Does not come with a ceiling rose/canopy. A new metal ceiling rose is available as an optional extra (see separate listing).

Takes a E27 bulb, maximum 60w (not included).

If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 lightbulbs will probably work but because they are 1mm smaller and this has an old lamp holder you may need to wind the bulb fully to ensure in makes contact with the fitting.
